We are Highland Game Ltd, the leading venison producer in the UK, and we are currently in search of Production Operatives to join our team. The role involves performing a range of tasks that support the overall production, packing, and dispatch operations, while ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Team: Production/Operations Team
Report to – Shift Supervisor
Work Hours: 06:00 – 14:30 / 14:00 – 22:30. Rate - £12.21 per hour/ overtime rate – 18.15
Work Days: Monday – Friday (No weekends)
Numerous roles are available.
Key Responsibilities:
· General labour duties include removing packaging, cleaning workstations, feeding the Proseal machine with products, packing products from Proseal, moving baskets with trolleys, palletizing, and the ability to operate light machinery.
· Sorting, picking, labelling, packing, and loading orders for dispatch.
· Moving products using dolavs, trays, pallet trucks, and other carrying equipment.
· Maintaining accurate records of products from the Proseal machine.
· Carrying out duties to a consistently high standard.
· Cleaning and maintaining the factory to ensure operational efficiency.
· Operating safely in compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
· Promptly reporting any Out of Spec Products/Non-Conformances to the Shift Supervisor.
