An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Inverness Depot for a Depot Manager.
About the role
Based at Highland Fuels Depot in Inverness (inc. responsibilities for Ullapool Depot and Harbour). The Depot Manager is responsible for the overall management and efficiency of depot operations.
This role encompasses a wide range of duties, including:
- Ensuring a safe and compliant work environment,
- Overseeing stock control and maintenance,
- Coordinating fuel loading and offloading processes.
- Liaising with suppliers,
- Managing health and safety matters,
- Managing site security,
- Coordinating vehicle pickups, deliveries, and repairs,
- Liaising with the terminal management and operational team
- Validating and authorising timesheets
- Tacho auditing – Driving & Working time regulations.
About you
You will have:
- Strong organisational skills to manage the Inverness fleet (inc. Ullapool), including overseeing administrative tasks and vehicle confirmations
- Ideally have a CPC qualification
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across the business with clients and suppliers
- Strong Health and Safety reporting background
- Good knowledge of ISO and quality management
