Post Title: Principal Technical Manager (Structures)
Location: Osprey House, Alness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Β£65,356 - Β£71,362 per annum

Job Purpose : To lead the Structures Team and provide professional advice and ensure compliance with the appropriate codes of practice. The post is responsible for overseeing the Technical Approval of highway and other structures. In addition the post manages the all bridge assets throughout the Highlands. The structures team produce designs, carry out structural assessments, prepare reports, drawings and contract documents for works related to bridges and other road structures.

Requirements

Chartered Engineer - Member IS tructE and registered with the Engineering Council .

Given the rural nature of the area covered by this post, the post holder will be required to have access to personal transport to enable them to carry out their duties involving travel throughout the Highland Area .
