Hours: 35 Hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: HC06- HC09 - £31,486 - £48,266 p.a. Applicants will be placed on the appropriate pay grade in accordance with the Planner Graduate Apprentice Framework, dependent on their skills and experience. Progression thereafter to Planner (HC09) is dependent on gaining professional qualification (Membership of the RTPI). Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.
Job Purpose: To assist and contribute to the delivery of a high quality planning system through Development Management and Development Planning.
Requirements:
- The post holder must be working towards or be a chartered member of the RTPI.
- Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline, accredited by RTPI or other body related to the built and natural environment for Graduate Planner.
- Full membership of the RTPI (for Planner position).
- Ability to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirement of the Service.
