Job Description Post Title: Community Support Officer Location: Headquarters, Inverness Hours: 17.5 Hours Per Week Duration: Maternity Cover Salary: £20,010 – £21,694 p.a. Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale. Contact Person: Dot Ferguson Tel: 07899 067668 Job Purpose: To support engagement activity related to the implementation of the Community Empowerment Act and the Council’s ‘Placed Based approach’, including developing local relationships and networks with community bodies. To provide support and build capacity amongst local community groups to enable greater involvement and participation in local planning and engagement activity. To support groups to take on local assets and develop resilience approaches in order to support the delivery of local priorities. The posts will be part of the Community Support and Engagement team and will work across either the North and East, West and Mid or Inverness and South areas. The post holders will work as part of the wider area-based team to support projects and activity across the area. Please APPLY ONLINE .
