Key Responsibilities
- Engineering & Technical Duties
- Carry out hands-on pump repair work both in the workshop and on-site.
- Complete full strip-and-report processes through to final testing.
- Assemble pump sets and support installation work.
- Conduct site surveys and customer visits to fault-find systems and provide technical guidance.
- Commercial & Reporting
- Assist with preparing quotations by providing accurate costings.
- Support decision-making on pump repair versus replacement.
- People & Workshop Management
- Provide day-to-day supervision of service engineers.
- Manage workload scheduling, productivity, training, communication, and discipline.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, organisation, and a strong Health & Safety culture.
- Mentor apprentice and future engineers.
