An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing and well-established building services team operating across Glasgow and the Central Belt.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and fault-finding of commercial gas systems across a variety of commercial and industrial sites. In addition, applicants must possess air conditioning experience and be confident working on a range of HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain and repair commercial gas appliances and associated plant.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on commercial heating systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
- Service and maintain air conditioning systems including split, multi-split and VRV/VRF equipment.
- Complete all relevant certification and job documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with current regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the business on client sites.
- Current Commercial Gas Qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
- Air Conditioning experience with relevant F-Gas certification.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Experience with BMS controls and HVAC systems.
- Electrical fault-finding experience.
- Additional gas or refrigeration qualifications.
- Experience working within facilities management or building services environments.
