UK-wide / MobileSalary: Β£40,000 Β£45,000 per annumHours: Average 40 hours per weekSalary Paid: WeeklyBenefits Pension contribution of up to 12% after 24 months' serviceCompany van providedAll required PPE providedPhone, tablet and other equipment providedAnnual bonusDoor-to-door pay20 days' holiday + Bank Holidays , increasing to 22 days after 12 monthsFull training and progression opportunitiesWe are looking for an experienced Fire Pump Engineer to join the team, undertaking service, maintenance and installation work on fire pump drivers and control systems at customer premises.
The role will predominantly involve working on diesel engine and three-phase motor-driven centrifugal fire pumps , covering both mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and installation of fire pump drivers and control systemsWork primarily on diesel engines and three-phase motor-driven centrifugal pumpsDiagnose and repair faults across: Diesel pumpsDC electricsAC electricsAC motors and controlsManage and resolve mechanical and electrical faultsAttend customer sites and ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standardAbout You The ideal candidate will have experience working with diesel engines and ideally have a background in fire pumps or similar equipment.
Requirements
Good knowledge and practical experience of diesel enginesPrevious experience working on fire pumps or similar equipmentElectrical qualifications are desirable but not essentialFull UK driving licenceCSCS CardStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilitiesGood customer service and communication skillsAble to work independently and manage work on customer sitesWhat's on Offer?
