Generator Engineer
Location: Midlands
Salary: £45,000 £55,000 DOE
Hours: Average 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Generator Engineer to join a growing team covering customer sites across the Midlands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance and installation of generators and control systems , as well as diagnosing and resolving both mechanical and electrical faults.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and install generators and control systems at customer premises
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Fault-find on generator control panels and switchgear
- Carry out portable proof load bank testing
- Upgrade and modify existing generator control systems
- Work safely and professionally while representing the company on customer sites
Requirements
- Time-served Generator Engineer
- Electrically biased with strong mechanical knowledge
- 18th Edition qualification
- Strong fault-finding ability on generator control panels and switchgear
- Competent in portable proof load bank testing
- Familiarity with Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers and the ability to upgrade existing control systems
- UPS knowledge preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS or ECS Card
