The Person
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and reliable engineer with a strong technical background and a professional approach.
Essential skills and experience:
- NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Current F-Gas certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics
- Competence in pressure testing, evacuation, dehydration and refrigerant charging
- Good electrical knowledge (single and three phase) and ability to read wiring diagrams
Desirable:
- Experience with VRV/VRF systems and chillers
Additional qualities:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with both colleagues and customers
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Basic IT skills (training provided)

The role and responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a growing and professional team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Field-based service, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs
- Attending reactive service calls (including participation in an on-call rota approx. 1 in 10 weeks, depending on team size)
- Carrying out occasional planned preventative maintenance
Location
This is a mobile role covering industrial, commercial and residential sites, primarily across the South of England and London, with travel from the Eynsham, Oxfordshire area.
