We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to undertake water hygiene and water treatment works for a range of clients across London and the South.
Responsibilities include:
- Water sampling
- TMV servicing
- Temperature monitoring
- Tank cleans
- Disinfection of domestic services
- Descaling of shower heads
- Closed system testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of water hygiene and water treatment works for various water systems and treatment equipment.
- Assist the Equipment Department with commissioning of water treatment equipment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Health and Safety standards, and company codes of practice.
- Maintain effective communication with the operations team and clients regarding job progress and issues.
- Produce detailed reports for completed work.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced engineers and graduates.
- Identify opportunities for additional remedial works or new business leads.
- Keep up-to-date with water hygiene practices, legislation, and water treatment products, highlighting any training needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge of water treatment plants such as water softeners, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems, and chemical dosing plants is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of HSG274 and ACOP L8 desirable; full training will be provided.
- Plumbing and/or electrical qualifications or experience highly desirable, but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Minimum O Levels/GCSEs or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of practical site experience advantageous.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Full valid UK driving licence.
