We are looking for an experienced and motivated Swimming Pool & Wellness Site Installation Engineer to join our installations team, working on a range of prestigious commercial and high-end residential projects across the UK. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong pipe installation experience, excellent practical skills, and a proactive attitude. The position involves working away from home Monday to Friday, with accommodation, breakfast, and evening meals provided during the working week.

The Role

As part of our installations team, you will work primarily in a two-person crew delivering high-quality swimming pool and wellness installations. You will be responsible for completing projects efficiently, safely, and to a high standard while maintaining excellent communication with the Contracts Manager and wider team. Standard working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of swimming pool pipework ranging from 50mm to 150mm/200mm
  • Working from technical drawings to plan and install pipe runs on site
  • Layout and installation of plantrooms and valve arrangements
  • Carrying out pressure testing on pipework
  • Installing pool chemical dosing equipment
  • Assisting with rendering, screeding, tanking, and pool tiling when required
  • Preparing and assessing pool shells for next-stage works
  • Running ductwork (training provided)
  • Completing site reports, pressure test sheets, overtime forms, and vehicle checklists
  • Maintaining company vehicle and ensuring it remains safe and roadworthy
  • Managing materials and equipment efficiently to minimise waste
  • Assisting with deliveries and checking goods received on site
  • Carrying out repairs and remedial works where required
  • Adhering to RAMS and safe working practices at all times
  • Providing regular updates to the Contracts Manager on progress and site issues

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in pipe installation
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work away from home during the week
  • Positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience within swimming pool, wellness, mechanical, or construction industries
  • Experience working within plantrooms
  • Knowledge of pool systems and chemical dosing equipment
