AIR CONDITIONING & REFRIGERATION ENGINEER WANTED

Location: Field-based
Hourly Rate: £20.00 per hour
Guaranteed Hours: 50 hours paid per week
Holidays: 23 days paid holiday (excluding Bank Holidays)

What We Offer:
- JOB SECURITY & GUARANTEED PAY
- £20.00 per hour based on a 10-hour day (8.5 hours on site)
- Guaranteed 50 hours of pay each working week
- 3-month trial period with full support
- Company vehicle provided fully racked out & equipped with specialist tools
- Work issued digitally via CLIK platform & electronic tablet
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
- Sickness pay (management discretion)
- On-call rota: £200 standby + paid OOH hours (door to door)
- Overtime rates: 1.5x on Saturdays, 2x on Sundays & Bank Holidays
Your Role & Responsibilities:
You will work across Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Chiller systems, providing a mix of service, maintenance, and installation duties.
- Service:
- Carry out service calls on AC, refrigeration, and chiller equipment (in and out of hours)
- Diagnose and complete service repairs independently or as part of a team
- Perform remedial works on VRF, AC Splits, Multi-Splits, Twin Splits, and systems from various major manufacturers
- Routine maintenance on all AC and refrigeration units
- Maintenance of various chiller plant manufacturers
- Assist with full system installations when required
- Replace indoor/outdoor units and support commissioning
- Ability to commission AC/Refrigeration plant is essential
