We are currently recruiting for an experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering business covering London and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industrial refrigeration engineer with experience working on ammonia systems looking to join a company with strong long-term contracts, excellent earning potential and ongoing investment in training and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a range of industrial refrigeration systems within food production, cold storage, distribution and manufacturing environments.
The Role- Service, maintenance and repair of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Fault finding and reactive breakdown attendance
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Working on compressors, pumps, valves, condensers and associated plant equipment
- Carrying out inspections and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently
- Completing service documentation and reports
- Supporting installations and commissioning works when required
- Participating in the on-call rota
- Previous experience working on ammonia refrigeration systems
- Strong industrial refrigeration background
- Experience with fault finding and servicing large plant equipment
- F-Gas qualification
- Ammonia handling experience
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working on systems from manufacturers such as GEA, Sabroe, Howden, Bitzer, Danfoss or Grasso would be highly beneficial.
- £50,000 - £65,000 basic salary depending on experience
