We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our growing team, supporting a portfolio of residential and commercial swimming pool clients across the M25 region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pool professional or mechanically minded engineer looking to develop a career within the swimming pool industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing swimming pool plant equipment, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on swimming pool systems and equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on filtration systems, pumps, dosing equipment, UV systems, heat pumps, boilers, and associated plant.
- Performing water quality testing and making chemical adjustments where required.
- Installing, commissioning, and upgrading pool plant equipment.
- Responding to service call-outs and breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
- Completing service reports and maintenance records accurately.
- Advising clients on equipment performance, maintenance requirements, and potential improvements.
- Maintaining company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a professional standard.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within the swimming pool industry.
- Good understanding of pool plant rooms, filtration systems, circulation systems, and water treatment equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Electrical qualifications or experience.
- Pool Plant Operator qualification or equivalent industry certifications.
- Experience working on commercial swimming pools.
- Plumbing or mechanical engineering background.
