We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer with strong hands-on experience in rewinding electric motors, alternators, and transformers. The role also involves providing technical support to customers and offering guidance and training to junior workshop and service staff.
Key Responsibilities- Repair, Service Maintenance
- Fault diagnosis both in the workshop and on customer sites when required
- Carrying out machine health checks
- Material and component resource management and balancing
- Use of high-grade resins and impregnation techniques, including dip and bake, trickle processes, and VPI systems
- Testing of electrical machines
- Rewinding
- Overhaul
- Rewinding of low-voltage AC motors and alternators
- Knowledge of motor components serviced during overhaul
- Experience working with transformers, including fault identification and repair
- Strong electro-mechanical background
- Proven experience in rewinding and assembly of electric motors, alternators, and transformers
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Practical, common-sense approach
