Service Controller

Key Responsibilities

1. Co-ordinate breakdowns and services for your depot by allocating to an engineer and liaising with the customer to ensure minimal downtime to the customer\’s machine.
2. Input Timesheets on a daily basis.
3. Chase the customer for order numbers on all work that is not covered by warranty.
4. Keep constant communication with the customer to give them updates on all live breakdowns.
5. Arrange warranty cross hire machines for any work that can not be completed on site due to Health & Safety.
6. Create estimates when additional work is found and send to the customer within 24 hrs.
7. Send over final costings for all retail work.
8. Invoice all retail work that has been completed.
9. Keep the WIP to a minimum.
10. Resolve all customer invoice queries.
11. Arrange monthly meeting with the Line Manager to resolve any ongoing issues.
12. Answer incoming calls into the office and log breakdowns.
13. Cover other diary locations during peak times for Holiday.
14. Cover the office with other Senior Service Controllers when the Service Office Supervisor is on leave.
15. Contribute to the overall success through teamwork and good communication within the Company.
16. Actively seek new business.
17. Organise and time-manage your workload.
18. Achieve and meet strict deadlines.
19. Deal with all telephone calls in a polite and professional manner and have the ability to deal with conflict whilst remaining diplomatic.
