Due to continued growth and an increase in service work across the North, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Compressed Air Service Engineer based around the Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering business with a strong customer base and consistent workload across the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, breakdowns and repairs on a wide range of compressed air systems across commercial and industrial sites.
The Role- Service, maintenance and repair of compressed air systems
- Fault finding and reactive breakdown work
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Installation and commissioning support when required
- Working across customer sites throughout the North West
- Diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults
- Completing service reports and maintaining high service standards
- Building strong relationships with customers on site
- Previous experience working on compressed air systems
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
- Experience servicing compressors, dryers and associated equipment
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working on leading manufacturers such as Atlas Copco, CompAir, HPC, Boge, Kaeser or Hydrovane would be highly beneficial.
