Are you an experienced Pumps Engineer looking for your next opportunity in the North West? We are recruiting for a skilled and reliable engineer to join a well-established engineering service team, working across a range of industrial and commercial sites.
The Role: As a Pumps Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of pump systems. This is a field-based role requiring both technical expertise and strong customer-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of pump systems (centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement)
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical equipment
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Attending breakdowns and emergency call-outs
- Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service on-site
About You:
- Proven experience working with pumps or rotating equipment
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
- Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent) preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge is advantageous
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Flexible and willing to travel across the North West
