This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who is ready to take ownership of their own desk within a specialist engineering and technical market. What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively develop and grow your client base through business development calls, meetings, and relationship building.
- Manage and develop existing client accounts, becoming a trusted recruitment partner to businesses across your sector.
- Negotiate terms of business, fees, and service agreements confidently and professionally.
- Identify and respond to new opportunities in the market quickly and commercially.
- Source, attract, and engage high-quality candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and your own network.
- Conduct thorough candidate registrations, interviews, and competency assessments.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates within your specialist area.
- Manage candidates professionally throughout the recruitment process from first contact through to placement.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle end-to-end, from taking a vacancy brief through to offer management and onboarding.
- Write and post compelling, targeted job adverts across multiple platforms.
- Match candidates effectively to client requirements, providing high-quality shortlists and market insight.
- Hit and exceed personal billing targets consistently.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a 360 recruitment consultant role; engineering, technical, or trades background preferred but not essential.
- A track record of billing and business development success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
- Commercially minded with excellent negotiation skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a busy desk independently.
- A team player who contributes positively to the culture and success of the wider business.
