About the Role We're looking for an experienced Solar PV Engineer to join our growing renewable energy team covering Southampton and the surrounding region.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial solar PV installations, maintenance, and fault-finding projects for a well-established business committed to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain Solar PV systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on existing Solar PV installations.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Complete testing, commissioning, and associated certification.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current electrical regulations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working on client sites.
  • Accurately complete job reports and documentation using company systems.

Requirements We're looking for candidates who have

  • Experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent desirable).
  • ECS or CSCS Card.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
