Job Description
Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary dependent on experience- £38,000-£42,000
- A suitable company van will be provided for business and private use. A fuel card will be provided to the employee and then all private mileage details must be submitted in a timely manner each month and will be re-charged at 18ppm.
- A laptop, mobile phone and any specialist equipment will be supplied. The employee is expected to provide their own hand tools (excluding drills).
- The role will be based from home and the employee will be expected to attend sites or the office as required
- The employee will be paid door to door
- The role carries a 6 month probation period followed by an ongoing annual review. Subject to a successful probation period a salary review will be undertaken after 12 months.
- Holiday entitlement will be 25 days per annum pro rata plus bank holidays
- Under the current pensions legislation, you will be enrolled into an auto-enrolment pension scheme if you are eligible. If you are not automatically enrolled into the scheme you may still be entitled to join.
The role will also encompass the following:
- Service & Commissioning of security systems (training to be given as required)
- Reactive and scheduled service fault calls including PPMs
- Carry out small works and installations
- Must be IP and IT proficient
- Preferred experience of IP networks, CCTV, enterprise level access control and intruder alarm systems
- Some fire experience/knowledge preferable but not essential
- Preferred experience of public space CCTV
- Expectation to undergo formal manufacturer, Health & Safety and other training deemed necessary to assist you in your role
- Liaise with Clients, sub-contractors and other key stakeholders during project installations (when commissioning)
- Take responsibility for collating all commissioning information and assist with the formulation of O&Ms (when commissioning)
- Assist as required with any technical site issues or supporting of other engineers and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies at all times as failure to do so may result in disciplinary action
- Part of the on-call rota
- Must have CSCS, ECS or equivalent
- IPAF licence preferred
