Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team based in the Dundee area. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of premises including schools, offices, retail outlets, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas heating systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on boilers, heaters, and related equipment.
- Complete new installation projects, including pipework and plant room setups.
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards.
- Complete job reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
- Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional manner.
- Participate in a standby/on-call rota as required.
Essential Requirements:
- ACS Commercial Gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A.
- Proven experience in commercial gas engineering (minimum 3 years).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- LPG and Oil qualifications.
- Previous experience working in FM or with service contracts.
