I’m working for an international coffee machine manufacturer who are currently recruiting for an experienced coffee machine engineer to cover the London area My client is the specialist for professional coffee serving in the food service sector. Its core business is the manufacturing and global marketing of filter coffee machines and fully automatic coffee machines for the preparation of coffee specialties. Job Description: Service Technician – Full Time (Monday to Friday and Weekend Rota / Call Out) Hours of Work – 8.30am (on site) to 5.30pm (on site) Monday to Friday or as required Overview of Position: As a Technician you will support our customers by delivering first class service, diagnostic and customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction by attending client sites and repairing the associated coffee equipment. We sell and services equipment and coffee in many countries world-wide through an extensive network. Among its customers are leading hotels, restaurants, fast-food and coffee-shop chains, hospitals and catering companies. Main Duties/Tasks: Installation, service and maintenance of coffee making equipment Carry out annual service, boiler inspections and preventative maintenance tasks as advised by the Service Co-Ordinator Repair equipment efficiently, minimising parts spend and maximising machine “up time” Report usage of parts and take measures to ensure adequate supply of parts are available Person Specification: 3 years’ experience working and supporting coffee making equipment technically Good level of IT literacy Good written and communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Methodical Ability to work to tight deadlines Ability to work as part of a team Full driving licence Ability to work with flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
