Salary - £50,000 (Depending on experience includes travel time to within 50 miles). Van/uniform/phone/tablet supplied.
The position requires a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer that can complete maintenance, diagnostic and remedial operations to a high standard with a good advanced knowledge of AC equipment, DX and chilled water, AHUs and chillers.
Duties:
- Provide technical support to the field engineers.
- Provide support with regards to surveys and running small projects (subcontractors).
- Provide maintenance, inspection and repair services to air conditioning / ventilation / refrigeration / cooling systems.
- Complete PPM, AHU, VRVs, split systems plus fan coil units.
- Maintain and manage the records for all HVAC kit on site and provide a monitoring service for the critical maintenance schedules including F-Gas records.
- Diagnose faults and use diagnostics tools to ascertain correct solutions.
- Liaise with electrical, building services and BMS teams, providing overlap where required.
- Assist with general ad-hoc maintenance tasks if and when required.
Requirements:
- Experience of carrying out site surveys/validations.
- Experience managing a small team.
- At least 10 years experience of PPMs and reactive works with requisite qualifications including NVQ & F-gas.
- Experience of dealing with all AC systems from split type units to VRV (Daikin & Mitsubishi).
- Experience working with AHUs.
- Experience working with Heat recovery units.
- Experience working with 4 pipe fan coil units.
- Electrical knowledge.
- Plumbing knowledge.
- IT literate and good record/data keeping skills.
- Pro active attitude.
- Highly articulate and presentable with good customer facing skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
