The Battery Technician will provide battery maintenance and support both in the field and by telephone, if required, to customers who have entered into maintenance agreements, who have batteries still in the warranty period, or who place orders for specific work with the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine battery maintenance activities
- Additional works aside from general maintenance which may include, but is not limited to, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
- Ensuring that the standards of service are maintained and improved in line with company requirements.
- Showing initiative in the generation of income for the Service Department.
- Highlighting further site actions if required
- Completing paperwork relating to site visits
- Completing personal expenditure claims including cash expenses, mileage logs and credit card expenses.
- Carrying out any reasonable additional tasks as and when required
