Due to the popular demand for spaces we are looking for someone with a minimum of level 3 Early years qualification to join our team, working with children from 6 months to 4 years. Highgate also provides a Holiday club and afterschool club for primary school aged children. We would ideally like you to join us for three days a week but we can also accommodate a job role for 2 days up to a full time role over five days. We have a position in all 3 of our rooms, Baby room, Toddler room and Preschool that we would like to fulfil. Our working day is between the hours of 8.00 and 6pm (rota) Monday to Friday 51 weeks of the year but we can discuss with you a range of shift patterns.
Highgate Nursery is a Family run, friendly, spacious nursery consisting of four imaginative, age-appropriate rooms, with high quality resources that provide opportunities for open-ended play. Each age group (from 6 weeks to 12 years) also has an assigned outdoor space within our one acre of grounds, and all children have access to our Forest School setting which is located close to the nursery. At Highgate we follow 'In the Moment Planning' and the Curiosity Approach to inspire and promote children to explore, educate and play (experience of these approaches are desirable but not essential).

Your salary would be dependent upon qualifications and experience. We pay above the minimum wage with a starting wage (age/qualification/ probation period dependent) of £13.75 per hour.
