Due to continued growth, Castle services are seeking to recruit additional Painters and Decorators to join our busy and expanding Estates team. We are looking to recruit the right candidates with experience in decorating and painting within the care homes we maintain. Working remotely alongside a 2nd painter, the role will include some travel across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the part of the North East. A shared vehicle and materials will be supplied. You will be working within our care homes and will be required to undertake decorating within these to maintain a high standard across the estate.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing/filling holes or removing old paint as required.
- Mixing, matching and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces and faux finishes as the project requires.
- Helping plan and prepare the work efficiently, including preparing surrounding areas and moving furniture and equipment as necessary.
- Calculating the number of materials and time needed for the project.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Suitable employment references.
- Driving licence essential.
