  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Promote fair, consistent, and legally compliant people management practices.
  • Build positive working relationships with managers and colleagues across the business.
  • Contribute to the development of People Services resources, templates, and guidance materials.
  • Support projects and initiatives designed to improve the colleague experience.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation and employee relations best practice.

About You

We're looking for a confident and approachable HR professional who can provide practical advice while building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor, or HR Officer role.
  • Good understanding of employee relations processes and employment legislation.
  • Experience supporting managers with people-related matters.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a varied workload.
  • Experience working in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build positive and effective working relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Practical problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified, working towards Level 5, or equivalent HR experience.

Desirable

  • CIPD Associate Membership.
  • Continued professional development in Employee Relations or Employment Law.

What You'll Bring

  • Professional and approachable.
  • Organised and reliable.
  • Customer-focused and solutions driven.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Adaptable and resilient.
  • Motivated to learn, develop and grow your HR career.
