We're supporting a key delivery partner on the PFDO project at Sellafield, and we're looking for a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer to help drive engineering excellence across complex, safety-critical work.

The Opportunity

You'll play a vital role in delivering engineering and technical activities across the project lifecycle - bringing your expertise to solve complex challenges and ensure high-quality outputs in a regulated environment. What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver mechanical engineering solutions across design and project phases
  • Resolve complex technical issues using your specialist knowledge
  • Produce and review technical reports, calculations, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and stakeholder requirements
  • Support and guide junior engineers within the team
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Engineer
  • Background in highly regulated industries (ideally nuclear)
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience producing and reviewing engineering documentation
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
