Receptionist – Corsham or Farnborough Department: Security Reports to: Security Manager Role Overview: We\’re looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to manage the day-to-day running of the main reception area across two data centre sites. You\’ll play a key role in creating a positive, customer-focused first impression, while also supporting site security processes and visitor access management. Key Responsibilities: Provide a professional, friendly \’Front of House\’ experience to all visitors and staff. Issue Access ID cards to permanent staff and contractors in line with security protocols. Process visitor access requests and bookings via the portal and email. Liaise with other receptions on the business park to coordinate visitor access. Coordinate on-site support services and handle general reception enquiries. Update the key management system to reflect changes in access. Collaborate with reception staff across sites to ensure smooth, consistent service. Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area and manage office supplies. Produce audits and reports for the Security Manager as required. About You: Previous experience working in a customer-facing reception role. Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good attention to detail and effective time management. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard office systems. Previous experience with access control systems is desirable but not essential. NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services is desirable
