Quantity Surveyor – Civils (Water Projects) | NEC Experience 📍 Location: Swindon 💼 Contract Type: Inside IR35 💰 Rate – on Application 🕒 Start Date: 18/8/2025 About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with strong civils experience to join our team on a major water infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise working on civil engineering projects within the water sector and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts. You will play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and delivering high-quality commercial support across the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Manage the commercial aspects of a water infrastructure project. Prepare and manage cost plans, forecasts, and reports. Administer and manage contracts in line with NEC (New Engineering Contract) standards. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and cost control. Assess subcontractor applications and variations. Support the project delivery team with risk management and procurement strategies. Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civils projects, ideally within the water or utilities sector. Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (preferably NEC3/4).
