About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Inspector to support work on a nuclear facility in Cumbria. This is a long-term contract opportunity, with a minimum initial duration of 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring electrical works meet the required quality, inspection and testing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical quality assurance and quality control inspections.
- Inspect and verify electrical installation works against drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Complete inspection and testing activities.
- Identify and report quality issues, defects and non-conformances.
- Ensure electrical works comply with relevant standards and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
- Work closely with site teams, engineers and project management to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
- City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection & Testing (essential).
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as an Electrical QA/QC Inspector or similar.
- CSCS card.
- SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
- Previous experience working within nuclear, highly regulated or similarly controlled environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electrical inspection, testing and quality requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently on site.
