Site Engineer
Location: Milford Haven
Contract: 12 months
Rate: 430 - 450 per day Umbrella PAYE
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with potential nights/weekends
Enhanced Rates: Uplifted rates available for night and weekend working
A major infrastructure project in Milford Haven is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the project on an initial 12-month contract. The role will involve supporting the delivery of a new car park for a train station, incorporating associated facilities including a bus depot and taxi rank. The successful Site Engineer will have strong setting out experience and be confident using a Total Station across civil engineering and infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying using a Total Station.
- Supporting the delivery of the new train station car park and associated infrastructure.
- Setting out and monitoring works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Working closely with Site Agents, Project Managers and the wider engineering team.
- Checking works against approved drawings and specifications.
- Supporting quality control and ensuring works are delivered accurately.
- Identifying and resolving engineering issues on site.
- Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
- Liaising with subcontractors and site management to ensure works progress to programme.
- Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of the project.
Experience Required
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, highways, rail or infrastructure projects.
- Strong setting out experience.
- Proficient in the use of Total Station equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good understanding of construction processes and site engineering requirements.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider site team.
