Projects: Data Centres & Mission Critical Infrastructure across Europe

We are working with a leading contractor in the mission critical sector, delivering high-value data centre and infrastructure projects across Europe. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced MEP Estimator to join their Central London team.

The Role

As an MEP Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates for complex mission critical projects. You will be involved from early-stage tendering through to bid submission, working both independently and as part of a wider commercial and technical team. This role offers a high level of autonomy, requiring someone confident in sourcing and managing supplier and subcontractor pricing across multiple European markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates for mission critical and data centre projects
  • Review tender documentation, specifications, and drawings
  • Independently obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Build and manage a strong network of vendors across Europe
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive bid strategies
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options within tenders
  • Support bid submissions and client presentations where required

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as an MEP Estimator within construction or mission critical projects
  • Background in either mechanical or electrical disciplines
  • Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding of MEP systems
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the estimating process
  • Experience sourcing quotes and engaging with supply chains across Europe
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
