The Role
We are recruiting Mechanical Fitters for a long-term contract at the Hunterston site. This role is installation-focused, not maintenance, and is suited to experienced fitters with a strong background in mechanical install work within regulated or industrial environments. You will complete onboarding and NRS training from 16th March, with project delivery commencing in the first week of April and running through to the end of the year.
Scope of Work
- Mechanical installation work on site
- Assembly, fitting and installation of mechanical plant and equipment
- Working from mechanical drawings and instructions
- Adhering to site safety, quality and regulatory requirements
- Completion of associated documentation and records
Essential Requirements
- Mechanical Fitter background (installation experience essential - maintenance profiles will not be considered)
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant Mechanical discipline (minimum requirement)
- CSCS Card - Essential
- Eligible for BPSS and NRS clearance
- Must have been a UK resident for the past 5 years
- Experience working in site or industrial environments
- Competent using hand tools and general workshop equipment
- Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings
Rates & Availability (Non-Negotiable)
£34-£35 per hour (CIS or Umbrella)
No negotiation on rates or start dates
Long notice periods cannot be considered
