We're currently recruiting Mechanical Fitters for long-term work on Sellafield Site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major nuclear project offering NAECI Blue Book rates, immediate starts (subject to clearance), and ongoing work for 6 months or longer.
The Role
- Carry out mechanical installation, maintenance, overhaul and fitting activities.
- Work from engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Assemble, install and maintain mechanical equipment and pipework.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site quality standards.
- Support the successful delivery of major engineering projects within a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter within nuclear, petrochemical, power generation, oil & gas, defence or other heavy industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical assembly documentation.
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation, maintenance and safe systems of work.
- Current or previous Sellafield experience is highly advantageous.
- Must be eligible to obtain Sellafield site security clearance and satisfy SQEP requirements.
- CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent is preferred.
