We're recruiting for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a major UK nuclear project, leading the electrical design scope from concept through detailed design.
This is a purely electrical engineering role requiring recent detailed design experience within a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the electrical engineering scope and design delivery.
Produce and review electrical design documentation.
Complete electrical calculations, specifications and SLDs.
Specify HV/LV equipment and review supplier documentation.
Support project planning, reporting and change control.
Lead technical meetings and coordinate the electrical team.
Ensure compliance with UK standards and project requirements.
Essential
Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Extensive experience in detailed electrical design.
Previous experience leading electrical engineering projects or teams.
Strong HV/LV power distribution design knowledge.
Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience.
Able to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Desirable
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
HV power system modelling and protection studies.
ATEX / hazardous area experience.
Knowledge of UK nuclear standards.
Commissioning or site support experience.
