A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project on the North Hykeham Relief Road scheme with a leading Tier 1 contractor. This is a long-term contract role with strong potential to transition from contract to permanent for the right candidate.

- Location: North Hykeham Relief Road, Lincolnshire
- Rate: £630 per day Umbrella PAYE
- Lodge allowance available if required
- Hours: 45 hours per week (08:00 - 17:30)
- Duration: 6-9 month contract with potential temp-to-perm opportunity
- Full-time on site

Project Overview
Working on a major £110m highways infrastructure scheme involving complex structures, including a 100m span bridge and additional overbridge works.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a commercial team of 4-5 staff
- Overseeing project commercial performance and reporting
- Managing change control processes and contractual matters
- Supporting delivery teams across highways and structures packages
- Ensuring commercial procedures and project controls are maintained
- Liaising with operational and senior management teams
Requirements
- Strong background within highways and/or structures projects
- Previous experience in a Managing QS or Senior QS capacity
- Experience working on major civil engineering infrastructure schemes
- Strong understanding of change control and NEC contracts
- Able to manage commercial teams and stakeholder relationships effectively
- No take-offs are involved in this role
