Site Engineer - Structures Location: Gloucester Rate: £430 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 6 Months Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Gloucester, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor. This role will focus on the delivery of bridge and structural works, making it an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in structures who is looking to contribute to a high-profile civil engineering scheme. Responsibilities Setting out and overseeing bridge and structural construction activities Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings, specifications and quality standards Producing and maintaining accurate site records, surveys and as-built documentation Supporting the management team with technical queries and engineering solutions Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery Conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with project requirements Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental performance Requirements Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on bridge and structural projects Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, foundations, bridge construction and associated structural works Competent in setting out and surveying duties Valid CSCS card Major infrastructure project experience desirable Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor desirable SSSTS desirable but not essential Excellent communication and organisational skills What's on Offer £430 per day (Inside IR35) Immediate start available 6-month contract with the potential for extension Opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project with a leading Tier 1 contractor Long-term prospects for strong performers If you have the required structures and bridge engineering experience and are available for an immediate start, please submit your CV for immediate consideration
