Senior Safety Case Engineer - Part-Time
Location: Warrington - Hybrid
Salary: £51-56/hour
Responsibilities
- As a SQEP Radiological Safety Assessor, you will:
- Deliver fit-for-purpose integrated nuclear safety cases and underpinning assessments.
- Ensure documentation meets the expectations of Sellafield's Safety Case Process arrangements.
- Lead hazard identification studies and develop nuclear hazard management strategies.
- Collaborate across disciplines, proactively sharing Lessons for the Future (LFE).
- Support regulatory engagements and Sellafield Ltd's assurance arrangements, including design reviews and technical committees.
Knowledge & Expertise
- Detailed understanding of nuclear safety case processes and methodologies.
- Experience in shaping and delivering proportionate nuclear safety assessments.
- Awareness of the scope, content, and underpinning evidence for integrated nuclear safety cases.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to apply safety case processes effectively.
- Experience leading and influencing nuclear safety professionals.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with internal and external parties including ONR.
