We’re recruiting for an experienced EC&I Engineer to join major Sellafield projects, supporting the delivery of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems across complex, safety‑critical environments. This role is fully site‑based (5 days/week) and ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, supporting commissioning, Front Office Build (FOB) activities, and real‑time problem‑solving on active nuclear projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and review EC&I engineering and installation packages.
- Provide on-site technical support during commissioning and FOBs.
- Interface with construction, commissioning, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Work proactively to drive progress and support schedule‑critical activities.
What You’ll Need
- Nuclear industry experience essential - ideally Sellafield project exposure.
- Strong background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience supporting commissioning, fault finding, and system handover.
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, CE&I documentation, and relevant regulations.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently on a busy site.
Location: Sellafield (Site-Based, 5 Days per Week) | Rate: ÂŁ45-50 per hour (Inside IR35) | Sector: Nuclear / CE&I Engineering
