We are seeking an experienced Autodesk Revit Designer to support engineering design delivery within a highly regulated environment. This role focuses on the development and modification of Civil, Structural & Architectural (CS&A) and mechanical piping elements within a Revit model, supporting asset care and infrastructure upgrades. Working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will contribute to the production of design deliverables including drawings, layouts, and engineering documentation, ensuring solutions are safe, compliant, and delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality targets.
The role is primarily office-based in Warrington (3 days per week) with occasional site visits and travel to other offices when required.
Responsibilities- Develop and modify Autodesk Revit models covering CS&A structures and mechanical piping elements
- Update and produce layout drawings and piping isometrics within the design model
- Produce engineering design work packages including drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Ensure designs meet legal, functional, and performance requirements within a regulated environment
- Work closely with CS&A and Mechanical Lead Engineers to develop integrated design solutions
- Support the preparation of technical reports, installation method statements, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders
- Proven experience using Autodesk Revit within engineering or construction design environments
- Experience delivering design solutions within a highly regulated industry (nuclear experience preferred)
- Ability to produce technical drawings, layouts, and engineering design documentation
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary design teams
- Experience or familiarity with: Steelwork design and detailing (Eurocode 3, BS5950-1)
- Mechanical piping design standards such as ASME B31.3, PER and PSSR (desirable)
- British and ISO standards relevant to engineering design
- Development of engineering drawings, reports, and installation documentation
- HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or similar with 5+ years design delivery experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng / MEng) with at least 2 years design delivery experience
- Evidence of formal training in Autodesk Revit
SC Clearance preferred. Candidates can start with BPSS clearance while SC is in progress.
