We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major infrastructure / civil engineering project based in Newton Abbot on a 10-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong engineering professional with previous site-based civil engineering experience to support the successful delivery of key works while providing technical leadership to site teams. The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Agent, supporting day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and communicate technical information from drawings, specifications, and design documents to site teams
- Provide engineering support across the project to resolve technical queries and site issues
- Assist in the preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments, task sheets, and site procedures
