This is a high-profile opportunity within a rapidly growing global operator, and they’re looking for someone who’s already proven themselves in live DC environments — this role isn’t one they can grow someone into . You’ll be stepping into a leadership role with full responsibility for operational performance, site strategy, team management, and budget ownership. With a well-developed technical team already in place, the focus here is on strong people leadership , strategic planning, and delivering best-in-class operational performance. What You’ll Be Doing Take ownership of site-wide operations Lead a multi-disciplinary team and foster a high-performing, safety-focused culture Deliver strategic objectives across service delivery, infrastructure excellence, sustainability, and compliance Own and manage the site budget, forecasting, and resource planning Oversee all aspects of customer services, incident management, and operational readiness Ensure alignment with wider business goals through cross-functional collaboration with project, commercial, and implementation teams Lead H&S and governance compliance across the facility – permits, audits, documentation and standards adherence Contribute to long-term site planning and investment prioritisation What You’ll Bring Proven experience managing large-scale, live data centres Strong leadership and people management skills – comfortable managing a large team and leading through others Budget ownership experience and a strategic approach to operational delivery Calm under pressure – able to manage incidents and drive continuous improvement A balanced mindset: operationally sharp, customer-focused, commercially aware Not necessarily hands-on technically – your value is in oversight, leadership, and driving performance A \”wide shoulders\” leader – someone the business can trust to run their most important UK facility Why Apply?
