The Opportunity
Join the CE&I design team delivering power systems and protection engineering for a high-profile Sellafield project. You'll play a key role in shaping the Electrical Distribution Network Upgrade through cutting‑edge modelling, fault analysis, and protection system design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the project's working ETAP model
- Produce and review fault calculations
- Support protection and control system design for 11kV & 400V networks
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality designs
Essential Experience
- Strong knowledge of BS EN 60909 fault calculations
- Skilled in power distribution modelling software
- Hands‑on experience with protection and control systems (11kV & 400V)
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with Sellafield design processes
- Experience with CAD tools such as Trimble, ERACs, Digsilent
- Knowledge of IEC61850 and power systems SCADA
- Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership in a relevant discipline
