We are seeking an experienced CE&/I Responsible Engineer (RE) to lead a team of CE&/I Engineers on the Silos MSSS 2nd & 3rd Extension project at Sellafield. You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and delivering CE&/I work that meets safety, functional, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of CE&/I Engineers to deliver projects from concept design to handover.
- Manage and deliver electrical supply infrastructure (LV drag chain, lighting, earthing, fire alarm, CCTV).
- Oversee programmable electronic systems including MIS, SCADA, PLC systems, and cyber security requirements.
- Support safety systems, process and radiometric special instrumentation, and remote handling.
- Contribute to programmes, estimates, and project planning.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Undertake design assurance and provide support to construction and commissioning.
- Mentor and develop early-career engineers.
Essential Requirements
- Academic Qualification: HNC
- Professional Qualification: Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a CE&/I RE role on external multi-discipline projects.
- Working knowledge of external engineering standards for CE&/I works.
- Strong project management fundamentals and effective communication skills.
Desirable
- Academic Qualification: BEng
- Professional Qualification: Chartered Engineer (CEng)
- Experience delivering CE&/I RE roles on Sellafield projects, with knowledge of SL standards.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovation and work within SL Gated Process.
