Payroll co-ordinator/timekeeper in Bridgwater

Payroll Administrator - Hinkley Point C Rate: £32.50 per hour Umbrella PAYE Location: Hinkley Point C, site-based Contract: ASAP start until 26 March 2027 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday IR35: Inside IR35 We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to support payroll operations on a major nuclear construction project at Hinkley Point C. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing working hours, maintaining accurate payroll records, processing adjustments and resolving payroll queries to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities Review and audit time clock records, investigating missing or unusual hours. Manage and update employee hours within the Kronos timekeeping system. Calculate and verify travel time, fares and subsistence payments. Resolve weekly payroll queries relating to timesheets, entries and payments. Liaise with relevant teams to maintain accurate employee and payroll records. Ensure payroll information is processed accurately and within required deadlines. Requirements Previous experience in payroll administration or a similar role. Strong attention to detail and good numerical and organisational skills. Experience with timekeeping or payroll systems; Kronos experience would be beneficial. An understanding of the National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry (NAECI) is desirable. Good communication skills and the ability to resolve queries efficiently. Flexibility to support team coverage during longer shifts when required. Training will be provided on internal systems where necessary.
