We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major HS2 infrastructure scheme delivering complex tunnel, civils, and cross passage packages between Water Orton and Curzon Street. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key commercial activities on a flagship infrastructure project, working within an established commercial team on long-term major works.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the commercial management of subcontract packages
- Managing CVRs, forecasting, and monthly commercial reporting
- Administering NEC3 Option C contracts and compensation events
- Supporting delivery teams across civils, tunnel, and cross passage works
- Managing subcontractor performance, payments, and change control
- Producing accurate cost/value reporting and financial forecasts
- Supporting commercial strategy and risk management across packages
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure projects
- Strong NEC3 Option C contract knowledge is essential
- Experience managing subcontractors and leading commercial reporting processes
- Background in civils, tunnelling, rail, or related fields
