We are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highway improvement scheme in Bath City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile highways project involving new footway construction, drainage and ducting works, working closely with the client and managing site operations from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the site team to deliver works safely, on programme and to a high standard.
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise daily site activities.
  • Conduct daily site briefings and ensure workforce engagement.
  • Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
  • Monitor work progress, quality and productivity.
  • Attend weekly client progress meetings.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, subcontractors and the wider project team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor within the civil engineering or highways sector.
  • Strong background in highways, drainage and infrastructure projects.
  • Good understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.

  • SMSTS
  • NRSWA Supervisor/Manager
